Energy which is generated by using wind, tides, solar, geothermal heat, and biomass including farm and animal waste as well as human excreta is known as non-conventional energy. All these sources are renewable or inexhaustible and do not cause environmental pollution. More over they do not require heavy expenditure.
Wind power is harnessed by setting up a windmill
tidal energy converts the energy obtained from tides into useful forms of power, mainly electricity.
Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity.
Geothermal energy is thermal energy generated and stored in the Earth.
"Let's make use of Renewable energy. Future is green energy and Renewable energy."
Energy harvesting (also known as power harvesting or energy scavenging or ambient power) is the process by which energy is derived from external sources (e.g., solar power, thermal energy, wind energy, salinity gradients, and kinetic energy, also known as ambient energy), captured, and stored for small, wireless autonomous devices, like those used in wearable electronics and wireless sensor networks.
...Entitled “Point and Line Theory in Management: Basis for Sustainability of Socio-Economic & Environmental Integration” by Dr. Dhruv Shankar Dutta. This concept is an original work of Dr. Dhruv Shankar Dutta(Anapproach to look things in unique way and beyond!).
As the consumption of energy grows, the population depends more and more on fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas day by day. There is a need to secure the energy supply for future since the prices of gas and oil keep rising by each passing day. So we need to use more and more renewable sources of energy.
Sources of oceanic energy come in an array of different forms and include tidal currents, marine currents, geothermal vents and waves, which are all at least partially concentrated forms of gravitational or solar energy . Tidal forces are periodic variations in gravitational attraction.
Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants and artificial photosynthesis etc.It is an important source of renewable energy.
Wind power is the use of air flow through wind turbines to mechanically power generators for electric power. Wind power, as an alternative to burning fossil fuels, renewable, produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation, consumes no water, and uses little land.
